Seamanship lab: |

Seaman ship is the art of operating a ship or boat. |

It involves a knowledge of a variety of topics and development of specialised skills including: navigation and international maritime law; weather, meteorology and forecasting; watch standing; ship-handling and small boat handling; operation of deck equipment, anchors and cables; rope work and line handling; communications; sailing; engines; execution of evolutions such as towing; cargo handling equipment, dangerous cargoes and cargo storage; dealing with emergencies; survival at sea and search and rescue; fire fighting.
The degree of knowledge needed within these areas is dependent upon the nature of the work and the type of vessel employed by a mariner. However, the practice of good seamanship should be the goal of all.

Navigation Lab: |
| |
Navigation is the process of monitoring and controlling the movement of a ship from one place to another. It is also the term of art used for the specialized knowledge used by navigators to perform navigation tasks. The word navigate is derived from the Latin "navigare", meaning "to sail". All navigational techniques involve locating the navigator's position compared to known locations or patterns. Our Navigational lab provides a vivid knowledge in Navigation to our deck cadets.
A workshop is a room or building which provides both the area and tools (machinery) that may be required for the manufacture or repair of manufactured goods. It may include theoretical as well as practical tips and exercises for learning the art. Workshop is the place which gives the knowledge of the practical experience. We have full-fledged marine workshop facility to impart practical experience to our cadets.
Ship Simulator is a vessels simulated computer program which simulates maneuvering various ships in different weather conditions with the effects of wind and current. Our college is equipped with a full-fledged Ship Maneuvering Simulator (SMS) which covers 180 degree angle of view, 90 degrees either side from right ahead. Simulator room is provided with fully equipped Wheel House set up. |

Mineral water plant is provided for the purpose of drinking water facility with R.O processing system. Water coolers provided in each and every floor. |

Chart Work |

A spacious room furnished with forty five proper chart tables is provided which will be comfortable for one full batch of students to practice simultaneously Chart Work.
